The rules. Short, because they should be.

These terms are an agreement between you and Attune LLC ("Attune", "we") for the Attune app and attune-dating.com (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them and to our privacy policy.

1. Who can use Attune

You are 18 or older.
You have not been convicted of a felony or a sexual offence, and you are not required to register as a sex offender.
You have not been removed from Attune before.
You will keep one account, about yourself, with your real first name and recent photos of you and your pets.

2. How you behave

Attune is for meeting people, kindly. You agree not to:

Harass, threaten, stalk or abuse anyone, or contact someone who has asked you to stop.
Post content that is sexually explicit, violent, hateful, illegal, or that belongs to someone else.
Pretend to be someone else, use photos that are not yours, or misrepresent your pets.
Ask other members for money, sell anything, or send spam.
Scrape, copy, or reverse engineer the Service, or use it to build another product.
Use the Service for anything unlawful, including anything that harms animals.

If you break these rules we can hide, suspend or delete your account without notice. Repeated reports from other members can hide a profile automatically while we review it.

3. Your content

You own what you post. You give us a licence to store, display and share it within the Service so that Attune works (for example, showing your card to people nearby). The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies other members already received in chat and records we keep for safety.

4. Safety

We do not run background checks. You are responsible for your own interactions, on and off the app. Use the safety tools we provide: trusted contacts, date-plan sharing, block and report. Meet in public places. Bring your pet only if you are sure it is a good idea for the pet.

5. Treats, likes and matching

Likes are unlimited. One treat is available every 24 hours. The compatibility score and its reasons are estimates based on the information members enter about their pets; they are a starting point, not a guarantee.

6. Cost

Attune is currently free. If we add paid features, we will show the price before you buy, and purchases will be handled by the App Store under its terms.

7. Ending things

You can delete your account at any time from the Me tab. We can end or suspend your access if you break these terms or if we shut the Service down. Sections 3, 8, 9 and 10 survive termination.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided as is. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that you will meet anyone. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Attune LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for the conduct of other members, on or off the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of one hundred US dollars or the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

10. Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, United States. Before filing a claim, email us and give us 30 days to sort it out. Claims that cannot be resolved that way will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Johnson County, Kansas, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Using the Service after that means you accept the new terms.
